In 2004, Brock Lesnar faced Goldberg in what was set to be a blockbuster wrestling match. Instead, it turned into one of the most lackluster slugfests that we have seen in the ring.

Sadly, before the match, it was revealed that both men would be leaving the company following their Wrestlemania battle. This immediately brought a negative cloud over the match. The fans turned their backs on it and decided to entertain themselves. A disinterested crowd, chanting 'goodbye' and 'he sold out' to Brock Lesnar in particular. It made for a wild ten to fifteen minutes as the match went on. Fans also continued to chant for Special Guest Referee, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Following the match's conclusion, responding to fans in attendance, Brock Lesnar flipped the bird to the audience. It was Brock's parting gift until he returned in 2012. Of course, Goldberg and Lesnar renewed their rivalry which culminated in a much better wrestling match and reaction at WrestleMania 33.
