AJ Styles is the perfect example of why you should never say never. Back in the mid 2000s, many fans and critics were impressed with the Phenomenal One's acrobatics, technical wrestling, and sheer athleticism. However, they also said AJ would 'never' be a main event talent.

AJ Styles would go on to have multiple Impact wrestling title reigns, and also wore the prestigious IWGP heavyweight title not once, but twice.
