A few months after ending his relationship with Mickie James, John Cena announced his engagement to his high school sweetheart Elizabeth Huberdeau. They tied the knot in July 2009.
Cena and his wife kept their lives away from the spotlight. Nonetheless, their relationship fell apart after three years of marriage. In 2012, Cena filed for divorce.
According to TMZ, Cena's move took Huberdeau by surprise. She then challenged their prenup and accused the WWE legend of infidelity. However, the couple later worked things out.

"All matters [in the divorce] have been settled and resolved amicably," Elizabeth Huberdeau's lawyer told TMZ in 2012.
Following her divorce from Cena, sources mentioned that Huberdeau received a settlement worth 60 million dollars. The same sources also stated that Cena's ex-wife became a real estate agent.
John Cena, on the other hand, continued his career in WWE. The 44-year-old had a good year inside the ring in 2012. He won the 2012 Royal Rumble match and defeated The Rock at WrestleMania to capture the WWE Championship.
