We all know him as the advocate for the undisputed, reigning, defending.. you know how the rest of it goes. But what happens when/if Brock Lesnar's contract expires and he doesn't extend his deal with the company that treated him so well? Will Heyman still be employed?
I'm hoping so! And if he still has a job post-Lesnar, we are going to need him to be on WWE television. What better way to continue the Women's Revolution by throwing the genius of Paul Heyman straight in to the mix?
Could you imagine Paul Heyman pairing up with Charlotte? How about Paige, or the RAW Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss? I could.. but there are 5 other women that could desperately use his direction and star power.
This article will explore the possibilities of Paul Heyman's future as an advocate for members of WWE's women's roster, and who he can possibly catapult to the top.
#5 Ronda Rousey
![Ronda Rousey making waves at the Royal Rumble](https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/e1750-1518078372-800.jpg?w=190 190w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/e1750-1518078372-800.jpg?w=720 720w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/e1750-1518078372-800.jpg?w=640 640w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/e1750-1518078372-800.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/e1750-1518078372-800.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/e1750-1518078372-800.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/e1750-1518078372-800.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/e1750-1518078372-800.jpg 1920w)
Don't act like you didn't predict that this one would be on the list.
Ronda Rousey brings her own level of star power to any brand she participates on, but that is due to her success in other places. What happens when it's time for her to get on the mic and shoot a promo towards her opponent?
Enter the advocate, Paul Heyman.
Paul Heyman would be in familiar territory here having already managed CM Punk before his departure from the company, and more recently Brock Lesnar. The MMA game is already a part of Heyman's "Hustle", so to speak, so this should be a no brainer.
Rousey's mic work likely isn't the greatest, and with material already there to work with, Paul Heyman would feel right at home with a female combatant with skills similar to his former Beast.
#4 Shayna Baszler
![Mae Young Classic / current NXT star, Shayna Baszler](https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/d8ca0-1518078438-800.jpg?w=190 190w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/d8ca0-1518078438-800.jpg?w=720 720w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/d8ca0-1518078438-800.jpg?w=640 640w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/d8ca0-1518078438-800.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/d8ca0-1518078438-800.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/d8ca0-1518078438-800.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/d8ca0-1518078438-800.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/d8ca0-1518078438-800.jpg 1920w)
Let's stick with the MMA ties for number four.
Unlike the previous entry, Shayna Baszler does NOT have a huge name. While she may have done well in her previous endeavors, the WWE is a totally different animal.
As portrayed in her match at NXT TakeOver with Ember Moon, she has the combative attitude already helping her. Her underhanded tactics made her a sure-fire heel, capable of generating heat by just her in-ring actions.
Enter the future Hall of Famer, Paul Heyman.
The drive is there. The determination is there. The unwillingness to take a loss is vividly clear.
Paul Heyman's sole purpose with the Queen of Spades would be to promote her as a dominant fighter inside the WWE ring or any other venue.. and he's the only guy that can possibly mouth-piece her (and his) way to the top of the Women's division.
#3 Sasha Banks
![Sasha 'BOSS' Banks, ladies and gentlemen!](https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/4eb92-1518078595-800.jpg?w=190 190w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/4eb92-1518078595-800.jpg?w=720 720w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/4eb92-1518078595-800.jpg?w=640 640w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/4eb92-1518078595-800.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/4eb92-1518078595-800.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/4eb92-1518078595-800.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/4eb92-1518078595-800.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/4eb92-1518078595-800.jpg 1920w)
If it wasn't clear to you already that Sasha Banks is a competitor to be taken seriously, just check her last match on RAW with Asuka. Easily the match of the night.
With Sasha already holding accolades like the RAW Women's championship in the past, not much else needs to be told about her in ring ability. She has high flying and technical prowess that can only be matched by the other 3 Horsewomen of WWE, and that's saying a lot.
What Sasha Banks does NOT have, however, is a way out of her friendship with Bayley and a route to the top of the Women's division.
You guessed it.. here comes Heyman.
It would be an easy out for WWE to have Sasha Banks turn heel via Bayley, and to actually cement her as a top tier superstar, Paul Heyman would be there to work the mic for her.
Perhaps it's just me, but I find Sasha's promos and interactions with other members of the roster "too scripted".
Heyman would be a terrific alternate route for that, and he would allow The Boss to continue on as his female version of CM Punk (pre-walkout)
#2 Asuka
![The Empress of Tomorrow (or is it TODAY?)](https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/22e5a-1518078774-800.jpg?w=190 190w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/22e5a-1518078774-800.jpg?w=720 720w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/22e5a-1518078774-800.jpg?w=640 640w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/22e5a-1518078774-800.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/22e5a-1518078774-800.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/22e5a-1518078774-800.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/22e5a-1518078774-800.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/22e5a-1518078774-800.jpg 1920w)
Does it ever get tiring to hear Asuka, week in and week out, proclaim "Nobody is ready for ASUKA!"? No? Well, it gets tiring for me.
Asuka could benefit from Paul Heyman so much in this category due to her already compelling in-ring artwork, and also due to her lack of mic skills (in English anyway).
Already being pushed as undefeated and unstoppable since her tenure in NXT, Asuka is well on her way to main eventing WrestleMania one day as one of the first female wrestlers to ever do so. She's already "over" with the fans due to her ring prowess..
But her mic skills? Not so much.
WWE is about more than in ring ability. It's also about entertainment and interviews and such.. so if Asuka doesn't get someone to speak for her soon, she may find her undefeated streak.. conquered.
#1 Ember Moon
![The War Goddess, Ember Moon](https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/05d20-1518079016-800.jpg?w=190 190w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/05d20-1518079016-800.jpg?w=720 720w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/05d20-1518079016-800.jpg?w=640 640w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/05d20-1518079016-800.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/05d20-1518079016-800.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/05d20-1518079016-800.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/05d20-1518079016-800.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2018/02/05d20-1518079016-800.jpg 1920w)
When I see Ember Moon, I see a ground-breaking SUPER star waiting to shine. She has the talent and the charisma. Her ring work is phenomenal. Her finisher, the "Eclipse", alone would be enough to give any woman a broken freakin' neck. Even her character is on point!
However, I don't see her making it far on the main roster with this gimmick unless she has someone to promote it. Her personality can't be relegated to vignettes, and even though she brings that mysterious factor with her, it is not enough.
Ember Moon has ready-made story lines to get involved with when she *does* get to the main roster, but what better way for her character to be highlighted than through the voice of the one and only Paul Heyman?
He can paint a picture like no other, and if he applied it to Ember Moon's character, the WWE Universe would be in for a treat.. and several intriguing feuds!
