CM Punk was ill-treated in the company

CM Punk is one of the biggest names in professional wrestling. The fans still insist that he come back to wrestle. However, due to his treatment in WWE, CM Punk has given up on the idea of ever wrestling again. Still, you can hear chants of "CM Punk" at many WWE events.

CM Punk left WWE in 2014 due to several issues as he was not treated properly in WWE. Most importantly, CM Punk wanted to main-event WrestleMania but was not given the opportunity by Vince McMahon. He came close to main eventing WrestleMania 29, but instead, we saw a repeat of the 'once in a lifetime' match between The Rock and John Cena.

No one really knows what WWE could have done had he stayed with the WWE. And we may never know. Because of his issues with the company, we might never see CM Punk in a WWE ring again.
