Now, we come to the finish that inspired this article in the first place, the Traditional 5 on 5 Men's Elimination match from WWE Survivor Series 2017. Having already failed to live up to expectations throughout the 30-odd minute match, things took a turn for the worse at the end.

Kurt Angle had Shane McMahon locked in the Ankle Lock and instead of just letting things end, Triple H Pedigreed Angle and then pulled Shane into the cover and got his own teammate eliminated.

This was followed by Hunter "fooling" everyone for a couple of minutes before delivering a Pedigree to Shane O'Mac and winning the match himself. This led to Braun Strowman attacking The Game. Why did any of this happen? Who the bloody hell knows.
