It's a damn shame that Dean Ambrose has not received the push he deserves on Monday Night Raw despite being one of the most talented superstars this industry has ever seen.
The Lunatic Fringe pulled off one of the greatest heel turns in wrestling history and was successful in dividing the entire wrestling community after Roman Reigns made his heartbreaking exit.
However, the heel turn wasn't supposed to happen the way it did. The former WWE Champion was supposed to turn on both his brothers and start a blockbuster program with the Shield that would have seen him in the main event against Roman Reigns.
Considering that the Rock was supposed to square off against the Big Dog, Ambrose's inclusion only brought a naturally built-up rivalry to the table and with the company having a prominent villain under their belt, this would have been a classic.
While Seth Rollins' involvement in the original plan remains unknown, The Big Dog's unfortunate exit coerced Vince McMahon to cancel these plans and think of something else.
