Sting versus The Undertaker. It's the one WrestleMania dream match that most fans were adamant we would eventually see, yet unfortunately it never came to be. Not even when both men were finally under the same roof.

Throughout the Monday Night War between WWE and WCW, The Undertaker and Sting were the two constants for their respective companies. Their loyalty never wavered and, sadly for the fans, that meant we never got to see two of the greatest of all time go one-on-one.

Sting revealed, however, that he had been approached by WWE a few years before he actually came to the company. Their idea was to have him and The Deadman do battle at WrestleMania XXVII. It never happened, of course, and now never will
