Hogan and Mr. T
Going into the very first WrestleMania, Hulk Hogan was WWE Champion. Vince McMahon had taken a huge gamble with WrestleMania that could have gone either way, and he went out of his way to turn this event into something the fans wouldn't be forgetting for a long time. The inclusion of Mr. T in the main event of the show was a step in this direction. This made sure that Hogan wouldn't be defending his WWE title at the event, but the fans were still hyped up for the huge tag team match that was going to headline the show.
Boxing legend Muhammad Ali was appointed the referee for the main event, and he got involved in the match at one point, when he punched Piper to restore order. Hogan and Mr. T won the match to a huge pop, and WrestleMania's success made sure that it would continue to be WWE's biggest show of the year for a long time to come.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
