#2 Warrior sort of beats Hogan at WrestleMania 6
WrestleMania 6 saw the iconic clash between two legends of the industry. Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior fought over the Intercontinental and WWE Championships in a match that would define WWE. The two superstars met in a situation that pitted unstoppable force and immovable objects.
This match was not a wrestling clinic by any means. It simply didn't have to be, and was a product of putting two of the biggest stars in the industry in one ring and watching the fans go crazy. Much like Hogan vs. Andrea at Mania 3, this match will stand the test of time for generations.
As simple as the match was, it wasn't without its flaws. There's one thing that is immediately glaring about this bout, and that's how it ended.
After minutes of exchanging finishers and "hulking up," the end came when Warrior put away Hogan with a splash. The moment was meant to crown Warrior as the next flag carrier.
Some of this was completely undermined when Hogan lifted his shoulders as soon as the three-count hit. Instead of a decisive victory in such an important match, fans were left wondering if Hogan lost as he rode out into the night.
