#1 Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 33

This is a surprising inclusion on this list, as WrestleMania 33's United States Championship match was pretty good despite the challenges surrounding it. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens were among the MVPs on RAW and expectations were high for their blowoff bout following the epic 'Festival of Friendship' segment.
The two were dealt a bad deal after their match was demoted from being for the Universal Championship, to being for the US Title. Things went further against Jericho and KO when they became the second match on the WrestleMania card, tasked with following the AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon show-stealer.
The match was not as the fans desired, without the required heat that their storyline garnered. Vince McMahon absolutely hated it and told Owens that it was "one of the worst matches in WrestleMania history."
The Chairman of WWE seemingly had a vision for the former Universal Champion as a heel and was upset at his in-ring style at 'Mania. KO performed a lot of moves off the top rope, which was against McMahon's vision for him. As a result, he blasted the match.
While Chris Jericho has spoken about it, Vince McMahon's disapproval of the match was prominently featured on Kevin Owens' WWE 365 documentary. He did recover in the following months, earning the Chairman's praise for his US Title effort against AJ Styles at SummerSlam.
