#2 Goldberg

Goldberg debuted in the WWE in 2003 as an absolute megastar that everyone was behind. he attacked The Rock on the post-Wrestlemania 19 Raw and went on a tear over the roster, defeating the likes of The Rock and Chris Jericho in the next few months. However, he eventually ended up feuding with the big man with a shovel Triple H.
Goldberg was part of the Elimination Chamber match at Summerslam 2003 for the World Heavyweight Championship in a match that included the champion Triple H, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton. Goldberg went on a tear the second he was introduced in the match, swiftly eliminating Michaels, Jericho and Orton.

He was undefeated at this point, so one would assume it would be a herculean task to defeat him. But no, Triple H just tapped Goldberg on the head with a sledgehammer and won with ease. Even though he did drop the strap later, it was a month too late as Goldberg's aura had been hurt.
HHH would also later defeat Goldberg to win the belt back, giving the dominant Goldberg a middling reign of just 87 days, 83 days short of Jinder Mahal's WWE Championship reign in 2017.
