In the last few months, Triple H and WWE have seemingly formed a solid partnership with TNA. The likes of Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry have made brief but memorable appearances on NXT and as time passes, this relationship will only grow.

Grace and Hendry aside, the list of TNA talent that could potentially make an appearance on WWE programming in the near future is long. The fans would surely love to see the likes of Moose, Ace Austin, Josh Alexander, and more in a WWE ring. However, there are a few TNA stars who have a much longer history with the Stamford-based promotion.

In this list, we will look at five TNA wrestlers who need to bring their existing gimmicks back to the Stamford-based company.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#5 Matt Hardy could once again "Delete" WWE

Matt Hardy is no stranger to a WWE ring, from his time as one of the members of the infamous Hardy Boyz to his escapades as "Broken" Matt Hardy. He would be a welcome sight for the WWE Universe. Last seen in the sports entertainment giant in 2020, Hardy has since worked with AEW and is now back in TNA.

Since returning to the promotion, he has had a championship match with Moose and even had a brief reunion with his brother Jeff Hardy. From the looks of it, he remains as "Broken" as ever, and should he make an appearance in the company again, he is sure to cause havoc.

#4 The Charismatic Enigma Jeff Hardy makes his return

Following his brother Matt, is Jeff Hardy. Jeff is a legend known for his daring maneuvers in the ring. He is a former WWE Champion and has won almost every singles title the Stamford-based promotion has to offer. Much like his brother, he has had several stints with the company, with his most recent one ending in 2021.

Since then, he has followed his brother to AEW and has recently made an unsuspecting return to TNA, where he helped Matt Hardy fend off an attack from The System. Should he return to his former home, it would prove to be nostalgic for both him and the fans.

#3 The Showoff comes back this time as Nic Nemeth

The WWE Universe fondly remembers Nic Nemeth as The Showoff, Dolph Ziggler. A product of the company's former developmental brand, Ohio Valley Wrestling, Nemeth had an incredible career in the Stamford-based promotion. However, his time with the company ended in 2023, shortly after his reign as NXT Champion.

Since then, Nemeth has toured the independent circuit and even made a name for himself in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Lucha Libre AAA, and most recently, TNA. Now, he is back to being one of the top dogs, and to see him back in a WWE ring would be the stuff of dreams. He could even visit a few old haunts and go toe-to-toe with some old rivals.

#2 Matt Cardona returns after four years away

The next superstar on the list is one the fans know as Zack Ryder. Matt Cardona has had quite the career since leaving WWE. Having held four titles during his time with the company, Cardona went on to become a legend in the independent circuit. Performing across a variety of promotions, Cardona's claim to fame was his gimmick as the "belt collector".

At one point, he held nine championships but has since come down to four. However, Cardona has since left the independent scene and is now contracted to TNA. He has only been with the company for a few months, but given his legacy, it's no wonder he is a fan favorite.

It certainly would be great to see Cardona make a return. Who knows? He may even get the chance to partner with his wife, Chelsea Green.

#1 Mustafa Ali brings the TNA X Division Championship with him

TNA is no stranger to sending the best of the best to perform in WWE. As mentioned earlier, Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace have both graced the company's ring. In particular, Grace even brought her TNA Knockouts World Championship with her when she made a surprise appearance at both the Royal Rumble and NXT. So, who's to say that Nashville-based promotion won't send another champion WWE's way?

This time around, the champion would be one that the fans know all too well, TNA X Division Champion, Mustafa Ali. The former leader of Retribution was released from his contract last year. Since then, he has gone on to do incredible things on the independent circuit and has now found a new home in TNA.

Ali has really come into his own since joining TNA. He won the X Division Championship in his first match with the company, and until recently was undefeated, although he lost to Mike Santana via disqualification. If he were to return, he would surely cause quite a stir.
