Adam Cole made his entry onto the list of WWE Superstars after he attacked the then-NXT Champion Drew McIntyre at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III on the 19th of August in 2017. He is the leader of the faction 'The Undisputed Era,' and is the NXT Champion- as well as the second ever NXT Triple Crown Champion.

Cole has shown immense improvement since his debut on the third brand, but it needs to be seen if the company would decide to move him from NXT to the main roster. He has a singles match for the NXT Championship with Tomasso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: Portland, and the latter has already expressed his desire to stay in NXT only. Tomasso had to relinquish his championship due to an injury, and if he wins the title at NXT TakeOver: Portland, then Adam Cole would be a challenger for the title and can make his debut on the main roster after a few unsuccessful attempts.
