WWE’s annual superstar shakeup has returned to refresh the company's red and blue brands, and while the superstar shakeup provides a soft reboot for both shows, it also hits the reset button for most of WWE’s biggest stars.
Therefore, wrestling aficionados know that the last superstar shakeup provided Raw with some of WWE’s premier talent, however instead of the company procuring some of the biggest assets from the land of opportunity again, they should take their under-utilised talents and turn them into stars.
#1 Baron Corbin
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Former United States Champion, Money in the Bank winner, and Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner, Baron Corbin's list of accolades should be enough to guarantee him a top tier place in any one of WWE’s two brands, however, that is not his reality.
Corbin has been a victim of WWE’s infamous stop-start booking which has derailed his career on SmackDown Live seemingly beyond the state of repair.
Therefore a move to Raw would freshen the 'The Lone Wolf’s' character, thereby allowing him to tackle other monsters such as Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley if the WWE doesn’t draft them to the blue brand in the process.
#2 Tye Dillinger
Tye Dillinger hasn't felt like a perfect 10 since his white-hot NXT run, and most of that due to WWE doing absolutely nothing with him on SmackDown Live for one whole year.
Being the NXT standout that got called up to the main roster last year after WrestleMania, Dillinger initially started off like a house on fire but soon was left on the sidelines for many months.
Moving Dillinger over to Raw can help rebuild his character and allow him to get more screen time, as Raw’s three-hour broadcast allows for WWE to showcase more of its talent.
#3 Dolph Ziggler
Five years ago 'The Showoff' was one of the hottest rising stars in WWE, but due to terrible booking by the creative team, Ziggler’s white hot run was extinguished every time it caught fire.
However one career defining programme with The Miz in 2016 sent Ziggler back into the stratosphere, as he was allowed to deliver passionate promos and excellent in-ring performances.
But ever since then, WWE has misused, mistreated and mismanaged Ziggler to such an extent that it is virtually impossible to rehabilitate his character.
While Ziggler can be a main event star in any other promotion around the world, his choice to continue to fade away in the WWE can only lead to one route and that is Monday Night Raw.
WWE might give Ziggler the proper treatment he deserves on Raw, as he is one of the best wrestlers in the company.
#4 Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch is one of the trailblazers who showed the world that WWE women’s wrestling can be a serious and legitimate thing, however Lynch is also one of the most underrated, underutilised and underbooked talents in the entirety of the company.
Lynch is a great wrestler with natural charisma, and the way she has been booked on SmackDown Live since last year's WrestleMania has been one of the biggest mistakes WWE made in 2017.
Therefore this year WWE cant make that mistake again and leave Becky on the sidelines when fellow horsewomen Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair and Bayley receive megastar booking.
Lynch arriving on Raw would not only rejuvenate her career but it can allow her to steal the show with other women wrestlers such as Sasha Banks, Ember Moon and Nia Jax while at the same time developing her character.
#5 Randy Orton
The legend killer was a fresh, unique and extremely popular heel gimmick that defined Randy Orton, but ever since WWE made Orton transition into the viper portion of Orton’s career, he has become even more boring as the years have gone by. Therefore, the current version of Orton might be the worst the WWE Universe has ever seen.
With Orton’s character becoming less interesting, his matches becoming less special and his booking becoming more unbearable, WWE cant waste a once in a lifetime athlete such as Orton on SmackDown Live anymore in monotonous programmes with Jinder Mahal, Bobby Roode and Rusev.
Orton needs a move back to Raw where WWE needs to start stripping away all the things that destroyed Orton's character and rebuild him stronger than ever, this will allow him become the veteran who helps usher in a new host of talent into the company, while at the same time becoming a better version of himself.
