#2. The Undertaker vs. Daniel Bryan
Another modern day dream match for The Undertaker we'd love to see. Daniel Bryan would need the YES! Movement on his side to overcome The Deadman but what a classic it would be. After all, Bryan has some ties to Taker, as he often teamed up with his brother Kane in Team Hell No.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
The match almost happened. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported in 2014 that The Undertaker had requested to work with Bryan. He was quoted saying:
"It is said that Undertaker asked to work with him at Mania this year, and such a match would at least have the turn make sense," Dave Meltzer said. (h/t Cageside Seats)
Again, similar to the Dusty Rhodes scenerio, it was all about timing. In 2014, Daniel Bryan was the hottest he had ever been and fans wanted him to be the world champion in the main event. Of course, that year, Taker's WrestleMania streak came to an end when he lost to Brock Lesnar.
We would have absolutely loved to have seen these two square off. The submissions themselves would have got us on the edge of our seats, as both men have signature holds. A spectacle that would have gone down in the history books, that's for sure.
