The Miz is, and always will be better as a heel because of his ability to draw heat. Remember when he was hosting Diva Search? Yeah, I don't like to either. Recently, if we're being honest, he is responsible for keeping the Intercontinental Championship relevant for the past couple of years.

A big part of that was because people wanted to see someone take it off of him. Why? Because people absolutely LOVE to hate The Miz. Most people enjoy The Miz' heelish tactics and big mouth not only because he's one of the best talkers in WWE, but because his amazing in-ring work balances it out so perfectly.

At the same time, he can make you laugh by running away in fear. Examples: When The Shield got back together and completely decimated the Miztourage, he was practically begging for his life. Another example: When Braun Strowman ran through the ladder at Money in the Bank 2018. He stood there afraid, caught like a deer in headlights. Great stuff.

The Miz is #1 on this list because he is the perfect example that a heel turn can save someone's career in the absolute best of ways. He's an 8-time Intercontinental Champion and he has a lot to show for it. If you don't realize that, he'll have no problem letting you know.
