Former NXT champion Samoa Joe, after stepping into the main roster, has often challenged for the Universal championship and Intercontinental championship but has never won the big one.

He has defeated Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and is the kayfabe reason for putting Dean Ambrose in the shelf for long. Despite the intensity he brings, he hasn't won a title yet.
He has not been involved in any title feuds of late, but it won't be surprising to see him eventually capturing gold on SmackDown Live. He's rumoured to be AJ Styles' next WWE title challenger after Extreme Rules.
