In 2016 Finn Balor was all set to become the biggest star in WWE. He became the inaugural Universal Champion at Summerslam but was injured during the match. Less than 22 hours later he was forced to relinquish the championship on RAW and was sidelined for seven months.

Since then, his run on the main roster has been a hot mess. He had a nothing feud with Bray Wyatt where we almost saw him dress as a "Pumpkin Demon" to face "Sister Abigail" a.k.a Bray Wyatt.

Balor had a run with Gallows and Anderson as "The Balor club" for a couple of weeks and at Wrestlemania he competed for the Intercontinental Championship. Since then, he has done nothing but have meaningless matches on RAW every week. He was in the Money in the Bank match at the start of the summer but was never going to win it.
WWE need to move Balor to Smackdown and reform the Balor Club with Gallows and Anderson. They could even add A.J Styles to the group. Gallows and Anderson are doing nothing anyway and A.J needs something to do when he drops the title. It would be incredible to have The Club run riot on Smackdown.
