Tweener: The Rock
Let's face it. A lot of us want him to electrify us again and a lot of us feel otherwise. The Rock is one of the biggest draws at the box office and his presence at any WWE event makes the event a sure-shot success. Having him appear and do his regular catchphrase laden verbal smackdown brings a lot of money. He doesn't need to have a decent match as the crowd is going to appreciate anything he does. He has stated that he has no problems putting over someone which creates an opportunity to elevate someone to the moon.
However, on the downside, his verbal berating can really ruin careers. Ask Rusev and Eric Rowan. The way he talked to Lana insinuating physical relationships was terrible television. The Rock appears out of nowhere and suddenly the spotlight is on him and only on him. This was one of the grievances CM Punk had with the WWE management. Thus, having The Rock is superb for business but not-so-great for the rest of the WWE roster.
