The most wasted talent in the last year or so in WWE has been Rusev. Just consider this - a year ago, Rusev was all set to become the top heel in the company, and last Tuesday, he dressed up as Santa Claus and fought alongside Aiden English in a meaningless tag team match.
While the current 'Rusev Day’ storyline is no doubt entertaining, it is already becoming quite repetitive and it's just not enough to push Rusev to his main card potential.

One way to turn him face is to have him challenge a heel like Baron Corbin. If done correctly, he can be a viable contender for the WWE championship within a short period time.
