WrestleMania is one of the biggest events on the wrestling calendar. Every wrestler dreams of main-eventing the show or at least being a part of the show.
WrestleMania 34 is just around the corner and the show is packed with star power which includes the former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey making her first appearance as a performer.
The show has been home to some amazing moments which ranges from Daniel Bryan winning The WWE World Heavyweight Championship, to Seth Rollins cashing in The Money in the Bank contract successfully for the first time at WrestleMania, and the ending of the Undertaker's undefeated streak at the hands of Brock Lesnar.
But there have been wrestlers who have lost most of their matches at the grandest stage of them all. Let's look at the wrestlers who have made our list.
#5 Chris Jericho
Jericho is currently signed to the WWE and NJPW as a free agent. He has been part of the company for almost 20 years and has been an integral part of the WWE. He is currently taking time off from WWE to pursue his personal interests.
Jericho has numerous records to his name. But unfortunately is a part of top wrestlers who hold the dubious record of most number of losses at WrestleMania.
Surprisingly he is the only wrestler on this list who hasn't lost to the Undertaker at WrestleMania.
Jericho had two heartbreaking losses first against his former best friend Christian after his girlfriend Trish Stratus attacked him in the ring and another loss to his former best friend Kevin Owens with The United States Championship on the line. Jericho currently has 9 losses at WrestleMania.
#4 Kane
Back in the day when Kane debuted, he was feared by every wrestler on the roster but is currently reduced to the role of enhancement jobber for upcoming wrestlers. Kane has been completely underappreciated by the WWE and has never got a chance to showcase himself as a main-event star.
Even though he has been with the company for almost 25 years, he has participated only twice at WrestleMania with one of them being part of the Kick-off show (does not include battle royals and money in the bank matches).
Kane attacked John Cena during the latest episode of Raw when Cena called out the Undertaker. He is set to face Cena next week on Raw, even though Kane's future is uncertain, next week's match between him and Cena will be pretty interesting. Kane shares the spotlight with Chris Jericho with 9 losses at WrestleMania.
#3 Shawn Michaels
Even though Michaels is known as Mister WrestleMania, he has the distinction of having 11 losses at the grandest stage of them all. He has lost to Razor Ramon, Kurt Angle and The Undertaker which were all nominated for the match of the year.
Michaels has had a tremendous run as a WWE superstar and was involved in some amazing story lines which included his best friend Triple H who also happens to make our list.
Currently, Michaels has a Legend's contract and has appeared in various story lines and WWE events. Michael's is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and his matches showed just how phenomenal he can be.
#2 Big Show
If we are going to talk about an underappreciated wrestler, Big Show tops the list. The World's largest athlete was a great wrestler and moved astonishingly fast for a man of his size.
Big Show first competed at WrestleMania 15 against Mankind which ended up being a disqualification loss after he attacked Mankind with Steel chairs. He went on to lose his next 5 WrestleMania matches and had a WrestleMania record of 0-6.
Big Show last competed in the ring against Braun Strowman and he let his contract run out without any fuss. He has been a tremendous asset to the WWE and had a great career but didn't get a farewell match like deserved. He ties Michaels at 11 losses.
#1 Triple H
The Game lost his first ever WrestleMania match against The late great Ultimate Warrior and has gone on to lose matches against all the big names of WWE at WrestleMania. He has been known to put over young and upcoming wrestlers with Seth Rollins being the latest among them.
He is one of the greatest performers the company has ever had and still manages to put on amazing matches for the spectators.
He has 12 losses and has the record for most number of losses at WrestleMania. He is set to team up with his wife, Stephanie McMahon and take on the duo of Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania which will most likely end up being a loss for Triple H's team and take his tally of losses to 13.
