I am actually now more or less okay with Roman Reigns as the Universal Champion until and unless WWE starts booking him as someone who will never lose the belt for years to come, which might just be true. WWE has tried numerous ways to make the audience want to support The Shield and that includes pitting the complete RAW roster against the faction which calls out for justice. That being said, The Shield has found a new footing in WWE again and Rollins' Intercontinental Title run, Roman's Universal Title run and Ambrose's return speaks a lot about the faction's success.
