#2 Hope isn’t true: Vince McMahon refused to talk to Zelina Vega after being told she was fired

Zelina Vega’s release from WWE came as a massive shock. Vega was reportedly let go for breach of contract, after refusing to give up her Twitch channel. Vega also started her own OnlyFans account which could have angered management further.

We got further updates on what went down with Zelina Vega from a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Vega was told that she was being released by WWE's Senior Director of Talent Relations, Mark Carrano, backstage on SmackDown. Vega reportedly wanted to speak to Vince McMahon after she had been told that she was being let go. She was told by Mark Carrano that the WWE Chairman did not want to speak to her. Vega was then escorted from the building by security.

Whether you agree with WWE’s decision to let Zelina Vega go or not, it's disappointing that Vince McMahon would not even talk to Zelina Vega after her release. It was Vega’s lifelong dream to perform in WWE and a few words from McMahon could have definitely helped.
