#4. Hope is true: WWE's new approach to an interactive fan experience

WWE has been under the microscope of the media after various rumors that they were desperate to get fans involved again. While it's clear that the COVID-19 pandemic won't allow that to happen anytime soon or just yet, WWE is reportedly taking an alternate approach to possible fan interaction.
Michael Cole made a very subtle hint on the August 14th episode of SmackDown, stating that from a week onwards, WWE will be having live shows outside the Performance Center and there will be fan interaction - with no direct implication of fans attending.
WrestleVotes reported that WWE has struck a deal with Amway Center in Orlando and fans will appear on the LED board, with applications to appear on-screen set to begin soon.
We hope this is true because this is a clever and modern way to work around the solution of having no fans. It seems as though we could be seeing empty arena shows until early 2021, so WWE might as well find a different approach to it.
