#5. Hope isn't true: Elias reportedly out of WWE for a long time
Elias could reportedly be out of action in WWE for a very long time. While he beat King Corbin at WWE WrestleMania 36, he wasn't seen much since, returning at Money in the Bank 2020 to cost his rival Corbin the match.
Shortly thereafter, he was written out. He was involved in the Jeff Hardy-Sheamus angle where Hardy was framed for yet another "DUI" incident, something that wasn't received too well by the WWE Universe.

John Pollock of POST Wrestling confirmed that Elias suffered a torn pectoral muscle:
Elias is out of action with a torn pectoral muscle, POST Wrestling has learned from multiple sources with the angle shot to write him off of television while he recovers. It is not known when he suffered the injury.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted on his Backstage Report podcast that Elias could be out until WrestleMania 37:
"Elias got ran over by that car in a segment a couple of weeks ago, but he's got a torn pectoral and may not be back till WrestleMania 37. Heal up soon."
We hope this isn't true because it seems far too long for him to be away from WWE. Either way, we hope that he recovers quickly.
