Goldberg could be returning to WWE RAW soon

WWE RAW ratings are on the downward trend again and it’s pretty clear that the show needs more star power. The man currently in-charge of RAW behind the scenes is Paul Heyman and he has been making the right moves since taking over.

If recent rumors are to be believed, another man Heyman wants to bring in is WWE legend and former Universal Champion Goldberg.

Dave Meltzer stated in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Goldberg is a Paul Heyman guy behind the scenes and although he wasn’t drafted because he was a part-timer, he could head to the Red brand when he returns. Here’s what Meltzer wrote regarding this in the Observer:

“They’ll (John Cena, The Undertaker and Goldberg) be used as needed, although Goldberg is a Heyman guy so RAW looks most likely.”

Meltzer also stated that the reason WWE haven’t booked legends like The Undertaker and Goldberg at Crown Jewel is because they are already bringing in Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez who they consider to be special attractions.
