#2 Hope isn’t true: Seth Rollins staying a babyface despite the change in fan reaction
You don’t have to be the most observant person in the world to see that a large section of WWE fans are slowly but surely turning on Seth Rollins. Although this pre-dated the finish of Hell In A Cell, it was the DQ that really was the catalyst behind this. Things were elevated earlier this week on RAW when Rollins destroyed the set of the Firefly Fun House (more on that later).
Fans audibly booed Rollins as he burnt down the Firefly Fun House. Some fans speculated that this could be a double turn but it clearly wasn’t. In the dark match that followed later on in the night, Rollins won by DQ after The Fiend attacked the referee. Once again fans were booing Rollins and it’s clear that he needs to turn heel right now.
However, it looks like WWE have no plans to turn Rollins right now and this could be a bad decision in the long run. This was revealed by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer who added that WWE were committed to pushing Rollins as the top babyface on RAW.
