CM Punk looks set to join WWE's studio show as an analyst

WWE Backstage is WWE’s new SportsCenter type show on FOX hosted by Renee Young and WWE legend Booker T. Former WWE Champion CM Punk has been heavily linked to a role on the panel for WWE Backstage in recent weeks. Although Punk wouldn't return as a wrestler if this is the case, fans are still hoping it could eventually lead to a return to the ring.

There have been a number of signs that Punk could be set for a return to WWE. The latest of these signs saw Punk’s merch removed from Pro Wrestling Tees. This indicates that Punk could return to WWE sooner rather than later, probably as a part of the panel on WWE Backstage.

Punk recently did an AMA on Reddit. He was asked about what it would take for him to return to WWE and here’s what he had to say:

“Oh of course i'm going to get asked that, no need to apologize! It'd have to be a very big bag.”
