#3. Hope isn't true: The Forgotten Sons called up to replace The Revival
The Forgotten Sons debuted on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 36 and went after The New Day right away. They beat them and earned a title shot at Money in the Bank 2020, where they, along with two other teams, lost to the reigning Champions.
Tom Colohue told Korey Gunz on Dropkick DiSKussions that The Forgotten Sons were called up as a replacement for The Revival:
A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE
There is an idea being put out that the Forgotten Sons were called up to be the replacements of The Usos. I've been told that it's not accurate. The Forgotten Sons were planned to be brought up for several months, kind of to get them out of WWE NXT, where there is really nothing for them and in addition to sort of replace The Revival, who have now moved on.
We hope this isn't true because it would negatively affect The Forgotten Sons in the long run if WWE finds that they aren't on the same level as The Revival.
