#3. We hope isn't true: Bray Wyatt's in-ring return to be at SummerSlam

A long wait

It's been nearly a year now since we've last seen Bray Wyatt inside a WWE ring. Post his run as tag team champions with Matt Hardy, Wyatt was given an extended leave, where he even became a father.

Wrestlevotes has reported that Bray Wyatt's in-ring return was planned for SummerSlam under Paul Heyman's rule.

Getting a ton of questions re: Bray Wyatt. I know this - prior to Bischoff & Heyman taking over, the plan was for him to redebut & wrestle AT SummerSlam. I can’t confirm if any of that has changed. I’m confident he’ll be at SummerSlam. Whether that’s his first appearance is TBD.

Given that Bray Wyatt returned to television with his Firefly Fun House skits all the way back in April 22nd, making fans wait till SummerSlam seems a bit excessive. They've been teasing his re-debut for a while now and it really feels as though it's high time he makes his return to the ring again.

While holding off until SummerSlam definitely seems like the logical thing to do, perhaps WWE is waiting a bit too long to give Bray Wyatt the perfect platform.
