#2. Hope is true: John Morrison returning to WWE

The Shaman of Sexy may be returning soon!

John Morrison has been away from WWE for 8 years now. It was in 2011 that he left and since then, he has had quite a successful wrestling career and non-wrestling pursuits as well. Not only has he won World Championships in Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground and AAA, but he has also become a big star and landed roles in movies.

It's clear that he doesn't need WWE, nevertheless, PWInsider reported that Morrison has signed with the company again! This is absolutely great news because he has always been an exceptional talent wherever he has gone.

WON reported that the deal was on the table for a very long time, but Morrison waited it out as he wanted to break into mainstream acting. That's a fair call on his part and it helps that he now has leverage in negotiations with WWE. It's going to be really interesting to see how things play out.

And yes, we know that Morrison himself responded and "rubbished" the reports, but what else would you expect him to do? PWInsider is as reliable as it gets and his return is almost a guarantee.
