#4. Hope is true: MVP's new role
When MVP returned to WWE in 2020, it seemed to be a one-off for the Royal Rumble. He was then brought back to face Rey Mysterio and post-WrestleMania, he joined the roster as an active performer again.
He's been great in his role as well, elevating superstars such as Apollo Crews and Bobby Lashley. With an important managerial and performer's role on RAW, it seems like he's enjoying life back in WWE.
What's interesting, however, is the fact that he was brought in to be a backstage producer. It seems as though he was one of the many producers that was furloughed, but PWInsider reported that he's now transitioned into a full-time performer again:
"Since we have received a few emails asking, MVP has transitioned into performing full-time and is not currently working as a producer for the company."
We hope this is true since it still puts MVP in the mix. He's been fantastic in his role and is the perfect example of how a veteran can be used on the roster to help elevate younger stars.
