#3 Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson stopped riding with AJ Styles
Before Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson reunited with AJ Styles to become the top heel faction on Raw, it was widely reported that the two men were set to miss several months of television before leaving WWE when their contracts expired later in 2019.
Then, much to the surprise of the WWE Universe, The Club signed new long-term deals with the company and won the Raw Tag Team titles for the second time in their careers.
In another story from Lilian Garcia’s Chasing Glory podcast, Gallows and Anderson mentioned that they were “miserable every day” when they were not being used on television between 2017-2019, with Anderson admitting that his WWE situation even impacted his home life.
Both men were determined to get their careers back on track and often spoke to each other about what their next step would be after their contracts came to an end.
They also revealed that they complained so much about their position in WWE that they even stopped AJ Styles from riding with them after shows, simply because they did not want to bring him down.
