#3. Goldberg vs Braun Strowman - Universal Championship - WWE WrestleMania 36
Following Goldberg's victory over The Fiend in Saudi Arabia at the beginning of 2020, the new Universal Champion was set to defend his title at WWE's WrestleMania 36 event against Roman Reigns.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused WWE several issues at that time. It also forced Roman Reigns to drop out of the match and be replaced by Braun Strowman at the last minute.

The pandemic also meant that WrestleMania was moved to the company's Performance Center. Several matches were also scrapped due to new regulations. This meant that many full-time WWE stars were unable to be part of the biggest show of the year. However, Goldberg, who wrestles just two matches a year, was still able to wrestle.
At the time, he was the Universal Champion and was appearing at WrestleMania to drop the championship. WWE had booked themselves into a corner on this one and Goldberg absolutely didn't deserve to be part of the show at the expense of the full-time stars.
