While the WWE status of Aleister Black seems to be up in the air, he and Zelina Vega remain the only couple who competed in multiple Royal Rumbles while being together. They got married in December 2018 and went on to enter their respective Rumbles in 2019 and 2020.

Black was a surprise entrant in the 2019 Men's Royal Rumble Match, where he eliminated Dean Ambrose. Meanwhile, Vega entered the Women's Royal Rumble Match in 'Street Fighter' cosplay. Neither Superstar had particularly memorable outings the following year.

Zelina Vega was released by WWE a couple of months ago after creating an OnlyFans account. This has caused some turmoil and the aforementioned uncertainty of Aleister Black's WWE career. He has not been seen backstage since his wife got let go by WWE.

That being said, it is a possibility that Black returns as a surprise entrant in this year's Royal Rumble Match. That would instantly make the former NXT Champion a big player on SmackDown and allow him to get his WWE career back on track.
