This couple quietly split

Murphy and Alexa Bliss were a couple that remained out of the spotlight for quite some time before making their relationship public. Bliss and Murphy started dating when they were in NXT around 2015. Two years later, in January 2017, Murphy proposed to the Goddess and she said yes.

In 2019, when WWE had put every wrestling couple on the same brand, Murphy and Bliss were on different shows. At that point the fans started doing the math. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet later confirmed that this couple had split in September 2018, one of the reasons why WWE didn’t put them on the same show.

In regards to rumors of Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy calling off their engagement — a source close to Bliss confirms she & Murphy ended their relationship & have been living apart since Sept. ’18. FWIW, I’m told Bliss is still a huge fan of Murphy as both a wrestler and person.

Bliss -- who’s now dating singer Ryan Cabrera -- is on SmackDown whereas Murphy is a part of Seth Rollins’ faction on RAW. He seems to have a bright future ahead of him, thanks to Paul Heyman’s support, and Bliss will always be a major player in the women's division, no matter what role she finds herself playing in the future.
