5 WWE couples with the biggest age difference

Meeting someone to spend the rest of your life with is a tricky task at the best of times, but when you’re an employee of World Wrestling Entertainment, it becomes that much more difficult. The reason for this is that given the hectic schedule you have to endure, it quickly becomes impossible to meet anyone outside of the industry and form a relationship with them.

This is one of the main reasons why so many wrestlers decide to date other wrestlers; it is also why an article like this has come into existence. For years and years now, Superstars in promotions all over the world have looked towards the comforts of someone in the same profession as themselves, and it’s not all too surprising when you think about it.

However, every so often you get a couple within this business that don’t seem to match up in terms of age gaps necessarily. Obviously, age shouldn’t be too much of a factor when it comes to love, but these guys and girls take things to a whole new level. But hey, they all seem to be pretty happy together, so that’s the most important thing – right?

With all that being said, here are five WWE couples with the biggest age difference.

#5 Lauren Hashian and The Rock – 12 years

The Rock and Lauren Hashian

The Rock has been in a relationship with the singer-songwriter Lauren Hashian for almost a decade. The two met on the sets of The Game Plan back in 2006. They kept their relationship a secret for a long time until December 2015 when the couple welcomed their first daughter, Jasmine and took the social media by storm. It was widely speculated that this affair led to Rock's divorce with his wife, Dany Garcia in 2007. However, they refrained from making any comments in the public.

Both Rock and Hashian share an adorable bond. She is seen accompanying her beau during the premiere of his movies. Although the power couple graces the red carpet quite often, they prefer to maintain the privacy of their relationship.

Well, the ‘Game Plan certainly worked out well for The Rock.

Nikki Bella and John Cena pretty much represent everything that the WWE Universe hates, which makes their supposed status as babyfaces on SmackDown Live all the more confusing. The two Superstars have been together for a few years now, but it was only when Total Divas came along that people really got an insight into what their relationship was like.

Many fans believe that their love is manufactured, but whatever the case may be, nobody can deny how successful they’ve been since partnering up together. They’ve hit the mainstream in a way that nobody could’ve anticipated, and their stint on Total Divas eventually led to the spin-off Total Bellas being created. Not bad at all.

It turns out he is a bona fide stud after all.

#3 Sable & Brock Lesnar – 10 years

Sable and Brock are a decade apart

Sable and Brock Lesnar have been together for a long time now, with the two having had a number of children over the years. Despite this seeming like the most noteworthy part of their relationship it really isn’t though, with Sable being the only woman on this list who is actually older than the man in question.

The 49-year-old Sable is a decade older than Lesnar, which somewhat makes sense as we can imagine The Beast wanting to be with a woman that’s a little bit more sophisticated. Obviously, that may seem like a bit of a contradiction when you look at some of the things Sable got up to during her WWE tenure, but let’s just leave the past behind us.

#2 Michelle McCool & The Undertaker – 15 years

McCool and The Deadman are as happy as can be

After two failed marriages you would think that The Undertaker, also known as Mark Calaway, might swear off the idea altogether – but you’d be wrong. The Deadman married former WWE Diva Michelle McCool several years ago, with the two evidently still going strong to this day as McCool was spotted in the front row at WrestleMania 33.

We can picture McCool being able to keep Taker on his toes, which is a good thing considering how intimidating he appeared to be back in his old days as the leader of the locker room. Still, he may have softened with age, but the important thing is that whenever these two are pictured together, they look as happy as can be.

#1 Paige & Alberto Del Rio – 15 years

Paige and Alberto Del Rio’s relationship is the definition of turbulent. From the second that they were first pictured together it seemed like the duo were destined to get themselves into trouble one way or another, and just a few months on that thought process has come to fruition. Paige has picked up two wellness violations and been embroiled in a sex tape, meanwhile, Del Rio had one of his own in addition to being released for the second time.

It’s safe to say that the age gap has probably played a factor here, with Paige falling head over heels in love with a man 15 years her elder. We aren’t going to sit here and claim that we know every single detail about their love, but the fact they’ve already broken up once or twice seems to indicate that this rollercoaster isn’t going to end all too well.
