Edge bagged a developmental contract with WWE in 1997 and never looked back again. He remained a mid-carder for the next several years and the entirety of the Attitude Era. Edge and Christian are regarded as one of the greatest duos in WWE history and have held the Tag Team titles on seven occasions.
Edge retired in 2011 due to a neck injury. Back in 2014 when Seth Rollins threatened to attack Edge if John Cena didn't reinstate The Authority, Cena managed to save Edge but was put down by the band of villains.
Edge made his return at the 2020 WWE Royal Rumble and is currently in a feud with Randy Orton. Rollins had recently expressed his desire to face Edge in the near future and it seems more than likely that we will see these two Superstars engage in battle, now that Edge has some more matches left in him.
Both Superstars are fantastic in-ring performers and a 20-minute outing between the two is bound to give us a contest for the ages.
