If Goldberg ever returns to WWE again, it is probably safe to say that he will not be returning in the mid-card. No, he will be a top-tier WWE Superstar when he makes his comeback to the company. And there is nobody who's ruling the roost at the moment that Goldberg can have a showdown with, like Drew McIntyre.
Did you know a top WWE Superstar just wrestled outside the company? More details HERE
Much like Goldberg, Drew McIntyre has been portrayed as absolutely bulletproof with all his challengers succumbing to the Claymore. Whether it is Seth Rollins or Dolph Ziggler or even Brock Lesnar, they have all faced the unstoppable power of Drew McIntyre in WWE, to the point where one has to wonder if the man is indeed invincible or not. The best way to verify this is to have a massive showdown with Goldberg, one of the most protected sports entertainers of all time, WWE or otherwise.
If Goldberg was to put over Drew McIntyre, it would be the passing of the torch in a sense, between two similarly booked top-tier talents.
