#4. Bron Breakker's WWE career could have benefitted from facing his idol.
Bron Breakker is one of the most impressive superstars on the NXT 2.0 roster. With his consistent performances, Breakker has caught the attention of legendary names like Kurt Angle, Booker T, and Jim Cornette.
The reigning NXT Champion recently talked about the influence that Goldberg had on his career. Breakker always looked up to the former WCW Champion as a perfect role model.

Bron was also fortunate to get some helpful advice from his childhood hero during the initial stages of his career.
Considering their relationship, a potential match between the two stars might have been intriguing. It would have been a great opportunity for Goldberg to pass the torch to a younger superstar while gratifying the fans eager to see Breakker's ascent in the company.
But with Goldberg's career winding down, it seems unlikely the NXT Champion will ever get to compete against his childhood hero.
#3. John Cena surprisingly never crossed paths with Goldberg
During his illustrious career, John Cena conquered many WWE legends. From Triple H to The Undertaker, it seemed as though there wasn't a single industry icon that the Cenation Leader couldn't defeat.
Although Cena claimed victory over so many WWE Superstars in his decade of reigning on top, he surprisingly never crossed paths with Goldberg. The two men have been in and out of the wrestling business for a very long time, but haven't encountered each other even once.
In August 2021, Goldberg revealed his intention to face John Cena in a first-time-ever match. The WWE Hall of Famer talked about how their contrasting personalities could lead to a memorable contest.
Unfortunately, Cena's tight schedule might not allow him to return to WWE in the near future. Since Goldberg has limited appearances left on his contract, the chances of this dream encounter taking place are looking less and less likely.
