#2 Bret 'Hitman' Hart Vs. Hulk Hogan

The second appearance of both men on this list, this epic encounter was supposed to take place a lot earlier than it did.

After winning the WWF Title at WrestleMania 9 from Yokozuna, the reported plan was for Hogan to lose the title back to Bret Hart at Summerslam, in what should have been a passing of the torch moment.

Instead, Hogan left the company not long after, and whilst the Hitman would win the title at WrestleMania 10, it was clear that Hogan was the one to beat.

So when these two finally met in WCW on Nitro in 1998, tensions were high, with the match being cut short. Whilst the match did bring in the crowd, had the crowd throwing trash in the ring.
