#3 First pay-per-view singles match for Matt Hardy in nine years

Matt Hardy earned a much-needed victory on pay-per-view on Sunday night
The WWE Universe was not overly excited about the fact that Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt went one-on-one at Elimination Chamber this past weekend, but it seems that Hardy himself would have been quite excited since this was his first pay-per-view singles match since Backlash 2009, where he took on his brother in an "I Quit" match and lost.
To see Hardy's last singles victory on pay-per-view fans would have had to go all the way back to WrestleMania 25 where he was able to defeat his brother Jeff in an Extreme Rules match. Hardy returned to WWE at WrestleMania 33 almost a year ago and it seems that over the past year he hasn't had a pay-per-view singles match.
