The Corporation is often overlooked as a stable in WWE history. During the peak of the Attitude Era, the Vince McMahon-led group was considered the biggest heel faction. It was assembled as an army put together by the McMahon family to make Stone Cold Steve Austin's life "a living hell."

The group started at Survivor Series 1998 when Vince McMahon screwed Mankind in the Deadly Games tournament finals to help The Rock win his first WWE Championship. Their official formation occurred the following night on the November 16th, 1998 on Monday Night RAW. The entourage included Vince, The Rock, Shane McMahon, Sgt. Slaughter, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, and the Big Boss Man.

Later on during that same show, The Corporation recruited Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock. On the November 30th episode of RAW, Big Boss Man defeated Mankind in a ladder match to win the Hardcore Championship. Later, Shamrock and Boss Man defeated The New Age Outlaws to win the Tag Team Championships.

These wins made The Corporation the most dominant stable in all of WWE. They held the WWE Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Hardcore Championship and Tag Team Championships simultaneously. This feat only lasted for one week, but it remains a moment when the group stood above all others in the company.
