WWE hasn't seen many groups as decorated as Evolution. Triple H put the stable together in a bid to guarantee that he held on to his World Heavyweight Championship, but he also wanted to represent the past, present, and future of the business. He was the present being the top guy on RAW and Ric Flair was the past as one of the greatest World Champions of all time.

The future would be represented by two superstars: Randy Orton, the third generation star had all the attributes to be an all-time great that he of course lived up to, and Batista, the monstrous Animal who was hungry and had a look unlike anyone else in WWE at the time.

it took the faction some time before they were all together, but as soon as they were all healthy, success came instantly. At Armaggeddon 2003, Evolution had their coronation as the premier stable in wrestling. The night started with Batista and Ric Flair defeating the Dudley Boys to win the WWE Tag Tea Championships.

Later that same evening, Randy Orton beat Rob Van Dam to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. In the main event, Triple H defeated Goldberg and Kane in a Triple Threat Match to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship. The scene at the end of the night was epic.

Evolution stood dominant to end Armaggeddon 2003 on top. This was an iconic visual that showed Evolution would be remembered as one of the most important stables in WWE history.
