#2 The Shield (WWE 2013)
The Shield is one of the most successful stables in WWE history. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose represented the top prospects from the company's development during the time. After debuting at Survivor Series 2012, the group had a brief alliance with WWE Champion CM Punk that led to a rivalry with Ryback.
The group also attacked WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, sparking animosity that would last for months. The Shield defeated Ryback and Team Hell No at TLC 2012 in their debut match. This started a months-long winning streak that gave them plenty of momentum. However, their momentum hit its peak at Extreme Rules 2013.
On that night, Dean Ambrose defeated Kofi Kingston to win the United States Championship. He would go on to have a record-breaking reign, holding the title for 351 days. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins beat Team Hell No to win the WWE Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules 2013 as well.
The pay-per-view brought a defining visual of their domination with all three members donned in championship gold. Reigns and Rollins lost their titles in October of 2013, but it didn't stop The Shield from continuing their success throughout their time together.
All three men would also go on to win the WWE Championship on separate times, furthering their legacy as an all-time great faction.
