When it is all set and done, The New Day may surpass all stables in WWE history by becoming the only group to never break up. Not only are they known as one of the greatest tag teams in company history, but their success as a stable is truly undeniable.
Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E have held WWE Tag Team gold on 11 occasions. With the group using the Freebird Rule, they can each stake claim to this historic run as the most prolific tag team in wrestling.
Most recently, Big E has won the Intercontinental Championship and became Mr. Money In The Bank after moving to SmackDown. Prior to him finally reaching his potential, Kofi Kingston was The New Day member who climbed to the mountaintop of WWE.
At Elimination Chamber 2019, Kofi Kingston entered the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match and put on a star-making performance, coming close to winning the top prize before coming up short to Daniel Bryan. That near victory was just what he needed to propel himself on the road to WrestleMania 35.
At the Showcase of Immortals, Kofi Kingston defeated Daniel Bryan in an excellent match to win the WWE Championship. The dramatic post-match scene showed the love that the fans had for not just Kofi but the entire New Day. It also showed the love and aduration that the three men had for one another. Their magical run in 2019 would continue for months.
At Extreme Rules 2019, Big E and Xavier Woods defeated Daniel Bryan and Rowan to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. This became the first time in the group's four-year run that they all held gold at once. Kofi Kingston was WWE Champion while Big E and Xavier Woods were SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
In 2021, The New Day is still in tact as a stable despite the ups and downs of the industry and them being separated by the brand split. They should be considered among the greatest stables in WWE history.
Their time when all held gold remains as one of the most legendary times of The New Day's legacy.
