Fans were devastated when former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions The IIconics were forced to split following a stipulation match last summer. The duo have been friends since their teenage years and came to WWE together in 2015 as NXT Superstars.

In 2018, the pair debuted on WWE's main roster as The IIconics. At WrestleMania 35, The IIconics won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships from Sasha Banks and Bayley. They later dropped the tag team titles to Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, before the pair went on hiatus from WWE.

Upon their return in May 2020, The Iconics feuded with champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, before moving on to Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. This was the rivalry that caused them to have to break up.

Fans were shocked when Billie Kay and Peyton Royce went their separate ways, and the duo were even later drafted to separate brands, cementing their split. They had a brief reunion in the Royal Rumble match, where they teamed up to attack returning legend Victoria.

Billie Kay is thriving in her charismatic and comedic persona on SmackDown, and Peyton Royce has been involved in some great matches on RAW. Hopefully, an IIconics reunion should be on the cards sooner rather than later.
