On the July 14, 2008, episode of Monday Night RAW, Santino Marella issued an open challenge, which Phoenix answered.
Surprisingly, The Glamazon made quick work of the former Intercontinental Champion and beat him via pinfall in less than 85 seconds.

Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix shared the WWE ring for the last time during the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble match. He entered the Rumble dressed as Santina and came to a face-off with The Glamazon and Natalya.
Intimidated by the two ladies, Santino eliminated himself by using his Cobra move.

Marella and Phoenix have not competed again in a WWE ring since then. However, the former Divas Champion is currently a full-time NXT commentator.
