On the May 4, 2004, episode of SmackDown, Chavo Guerrero issued an open challenge for anyone who wanted to face him for his Cruiserweight title. To his surprise, Jacqueline was the one who answered his challenge. Guerrero broke out in laughter as soon as he saw her walk down to the ring and then told her that she did not really want to face him. Jacqueline answered with a slap to his face.
Guerrero dominated the female star for most of the match. However, a low blow from Jacqueline behind the referee's back gave her the chance to pin him and capture the title. As a result, she became the first African American WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
Jacqueline's title reign lasted only 12 days as she lost the gold to Chavo Guerrero at Judgment Day in May. The former Women's Champion was released by the company the following month.
In 2016, Jacqueline was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. She last fought in a WWE ring during the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble match.
